HANDS UP FOR #HIVPREVENTION: LEAVING NO-ONE BEHIND (2016)

The 2016 Irish Aid Annual Professor Father Michael Kelly Lecture on HIV and AIDS took place on Monday December 5th, at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

This year’s theme was Hands up for #HIVPREVENTION: Leaving no-one behind, which incorporated the 2016 World AIDS Day focus on #HIVPREVENTION, as well as the aim of ensuring that prevention is inclusive for all.

Father Michael gave a pre-recorded video introductory address from Lusaka, Zambia, followed by guest lectures from two very special invited speakers: Shaun Mellors, Director of Knowledge & Influence at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance; and Robbie Lawlor, Ireland- and UK- based HIV advocate and activist.
