UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO HIV PREVENTION: MAKING IT HAPPEN FOR WOMEN (2009)

Father Michael was unable to attend the this year’s World AIDS Day event, held at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Instead, he appeared via a video message which was played at the opening of the proceedings. In it, he stressed the importance of advocating for HIV prevention and universal access, particularly for women, and the need to overcome the increased inequitable treatment that they are often subjected to.
